TrueProxies vs SOAX: residential proxies compared
SOAX charges per GB by the country of the exit IP, in three tiers, and its rates fall steeply with plan size: tier 1 from $5/GB on the free Sandbox plan to from $0.85/GB on the $3,000 Enterprise plan, and tier 3 down to $0.35/GB. Its credits expire 60 days after they are added, and it has no free trial. TrueProxies charges one rate for every country, its traffic never expires, and Lite, at $0.50 down to $0.45/GB, costs less than every SOAX rate except Enterprise tier 3.

How much does SOAX cost?
On November 6, 2026, SOAX's pricing page, marked as updated September 22, 2026, listed five plans with one rate across residential and mobile traffic:
| Plan | Monthly price | Tier 1 | Tier 2 | Tier 3 |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Sandbox | Free | $5.00 | $4.00 | $2.00 |
| Builder | $200 + VAT | $3.00 | $2.25 | $1.20 |
| Team | $500 + VAT | $2.20 | $1.65 | $0.90 |
| Scale | $1,500 + VAT | $1.50 | $1.15 | $0.60 |
| Enterprise | $3,000 + VAT | from $0.85 | from $0.55 | from $0.35 |
The exit IP's country sets the tier. The FAQ gives the United States and Germany as tier 1, India as tier 2 and the Philippines as tier 3, without publishing the full list. Credits added on Sandbox or a monthly plan expire 60 days after they are added, and 12 months on annual plans. Payments are generally non-refundable.
When SOAX is the better choice
- Your traffic exits in cheaper countries at volume. If most of it is tier 3 and you buy at Enterprise volume, SOAX's $0.35/GB is below any TrueProxies rate; Lite stops at $0.45/GB.
- You target by ISP, or by ZIP at scale. SOAX targets by country, region, city and ISP on every plan, and adds ASN and ZIP from Scale. TrueProxies has no ISP-name or ZIP targeting.
- You need mobile IPs too. SOAX charges one rate across residential and mobile traffic. TrueProxies does not sell mobile proxies.
When TrueProxies fits
- Your traffic exits in tier 1 countries. Standard costs $1.10 down to $0.60/GB for any country. SOAX tier 1, which includes the United States and Germany, costs $1.50/GB even on its $1,500 Scale plan.
- You use traffic slowly. TrueProxies traffic packs never expire. SOAX credits lapse 60 days after they are added.
- You want to test before you pay. TrueProxies has a free trial, 1 hour of Unlimited Pro at 10 Mbps. SOAX says it has none.
- You pay in crypto. TrueProxies takes Visa, Mastercard and crypto (including BTC, ETH and USDT). SOAX lists cards and, for approved business accounts, bank transfer.
How we compared
- Competitor figures were read from the vendor's own public pages on November 6, 2026, as displayed, and each source is linked below the table. Where a page does not state something, the table says so.
- List prices and promotions are shown separately. A coupon that lasts 3 months is not a rate to budget against.
- Pool sizes and country counts are what each provider advertises. None is independently audited, and we did not test either network for this page.
- Before moving traffic, send the same targets, countries, concurrency and retry rules through both providers, and compare successful responses and billed traffic. The proxy checker runs a first connectivity check on any proxy.
Questions about TrueProxies and SOAX
How does SOAX pricing work?
You buy credits on a plan, and each GB costs a rate set by the plan and by the tier of the exit IP's country. On its pricing page, tier 1 runs from $5/GB on Sandbox to from $0.85/GB on Enterprise, and tier 3 from $2/GB to from $0.35/GB.
Do SOAX credits expire?
Yes: 60 days after they are added on Sandbox and monthly plans, and 12 months on annual plans. TrueProxies traffic packs never expire.
Does SOAX have a free trial?
No. SOAX says Sandbox is its no-commitment option: no fee, but you buy credits at Sandbox rates. The TrueProxies free trial is 1 hour of Unlimited Pro at 10 Mbps.
Is TrueProxies cheaper than SOAX?
For tier 1 countries such as the United States, yes on every SOAX plan below Enterprise: Standard costs $1.10 down to $0.60/GB. For tier 3 traffic at Enterprise volume, SOAX's $0.35/GB is cheaper than any TrueProxies rate.
