1. Webshare — for one self-service rate for every country

Webshare’s table has no country tiers, only one rate per plan size: $3.50/GB on 1 GB, $2.25/GB on 100 GB, $2.00/GB on 250 GB, $1.50/GB on 1,000 GB and $1.40/GB on 3,000 GB. It lists 80M+ IPs in 195 countries, with country, state, city, ZIP and ASN targeting.
Against SOAX’s tier 1 rates, that is lower at similar monthly spend on the smaller plans. SOAX charges $3.00/GB on Builder ($200/month) and $2.20/GB on Team ($500/month); Webshare charges $2.25/GB for 100 GB ($225) and $2.00/GB for 250 GB ($500). SOAX includes ZIP and ASN targeting only from its $1,500/month Scale plan.
Choose Webshare when most of your traffic is tier 1 and you want plain per-GB pricing without credits.

Decodo’s pricing has no country tiers either: $3.75/GB on 3 GB ($11.25/month) to $2.75/GB on 100 GB, Enterprise plans from $2.50/GB on 250 GB to $2.00/GB on 1 TB, and $4.00/GB pay-as-you-go. Every plan includes continent, country, state, city, ZIP and ASN targeting, across 115M+ IPs in 195+ locations.
SOAX says it has no free trial. Decodo gives new users 3 days with 100 MB, and regular plans carry a 14-day money-back option that does not apply after a trial. On its larger plans, SOAX’s tier 2 and tier 3 rates are lower than Decodo’s.
Choose Decodo when you need ZIP or ASN targeting below SOAX’s $1,500 Scale plan, or want to test before paying.

SOAX plan credits expire 60 days after they are added. IPRoyal’s pricing page advertises traffic that never expires, with no contract and no monthly minimum, on subscription or pay-as-you-go.
The rates are higher: $7.00/GB for 1 GB on subscription, $5.25/GB for 10 GB, and $1.75/GB on custom plans from 10 TB. IPRoyal lists 64M+ IPs in 195+ countries, against SOAX’s 155+ million.
Choose IPRoyal when your use is occasional and expiring credits cost you more than a higher per-GB rate.

TrueProxies charges the same per-GB rate whatever the exit country: traffic packs run from $1.64 for 1 GB to $0.60/GB on 5,000 GB, with country, city, region and ASN targeting. At similar monthly spend, that is below SOAX’s tier 1 rates on every plan and above its tier 3 rates on the Scale and Enterprise plans.
It also sells Residential IPv4 Unlimited: no traffic cap, priced by speed from $4.08/hour at 10 Mbps, with daily, weekly and monthly plans up to 1 Gbps. Where SOAX has no free trial, TrueProxies offers 1 hour of the Unlimited product at 10 Mbps.
Where SOAX is stronger: it lists 155+ million IPs across 195+ locations, against 50M+ in 150+ countries for TrueProxies traffic packs, and one SOAX rate covers residential and mobile traffic. Unlimited plans use a separate 1.3M+ pool with country targeting only. A TrueProxies traffic pack lasts 30 days from activation; SOAX credits last 60.

Rates are set by plan, not by country: $6.00/GB on Starter (5 GB, $30/month) down to $2.50/GB on Corporate (1 TB, $2,500/month). At $500 a month, Oxylabs Advanced charges $4.00/GB, while SOAX Team charges $2.20/GB for tier 1 and $0.90/GB for tier 3. Refunds are possible within 3 calendar days of the first purchase, under conditions; SOAX treats payments as generally non-refundable.

Bright Data lists 400M+ rotating residential IPs in 195 countries, more than twice SOAX’s 155+ million, with country, state, city and ZIP targeting included. It also sells scraper APIs, a browser API and datasets.
Its list prices are the highest here: $8.00/GB pay-as-you-go and $7.00 to $5.00/GB on plans from $499 to $1,999 a month. On September 29, 2026 the page showed a 50% discount for 3 months with code RESIGB50, and an offer to match a first deposit up to $500.
Choose Bright Data when pool size or managed collection is worth paying list price for.

Why do teams look for SOAX alternatives?
SOAX’s price depends on where your traffic exits. On September 29, 2026, tier 1 countries such as the United States cost $5.00/GB on the free Sandbox plan, $3.00/GB on Builder ($200/month) and $2.20/GB on Team ($500/month). Tier 3 countries cost from $2.00/GB down to from $0.35/GB on Enterprise.
Buying terms are the other reason. Usage is paid in credits that expire 60 days after they are added, SOAX says there is no free trial, and payments are generally non-refundable. ZIP and ASN targeting start on the $1,500/month Scale plan.
SOAX’s strengths are clear too. Tier 3 traffic on Enterprise, from $0.35/GB, is below every flat rate on this page. SOAX lists 155+ million IPs across 195+ locations, and one rate covers residential and mobile traffic.

- Compare the same product class: rotating residential proxy access, bought per GB or by time. Scraper APIs, unblockers, ISP, mobile and datacenter products are priced differently and are left out.
- Every competitor price, pool size and coverage figure was read from the vendor’s own public pricing page on September 29, 2026 and is linked in the table. SOAX does not state its pool on its pricing page, so that figure comes from its residential proxies page.
- List prices and promotions are shown separately. A coupon that expires after 3 months is not a rate to budget against.
- Pool sizes and country counts are what each vendor advertises. None is independently audited, and we did not test any provider for this page.
- Ranking reflects fit for a stated need, not overall quality. TrueProxies publishes this page and is included as one option; it is not ranked first.
