1. Webshare — for lower per-GB rates on self-service plans

Webshare is the most direct swap on price. At the sizes IPRoyal publishes, Webshare lists $3.50/GB for 1 GB against IPRoyal’s $7.00 subscription rate, and $2.75/GB for 10 GB against $5.25. Its advertised pool is also larger: 80M+ residential IPs in 195 countries, against IPRoyal’s 64M+ in 195+.
The difference is how you buy. Webshare bills a monthly plan sized in GB, from 1 GB up to 3,000 GB at $1.40/GB ($4,200/month). IPRoyal sells traffic that its pricing page says never expires, with no monthly minimum. If your use is irregular, check how Webshare treats unused plan traffic before you switch.
Choose Webshare when usage is steady from month to month and the per-GB rate is the main reason to move.

Decodo lists 115M+ IPs in 195+ locations and includes continent, country, state, city, ZIP and ASN targeting on every plan. Regular plans start at $3.75/GB for 3 GB ($11.25/month) and fall to $2.75/GB on 100 GB. Pay-as-you-go is $4.00/GB, bought one GB at a time.
Against IPRoyal that is a lower rate at every small size, and the 3-day trial with 100 MB lets new users test before paying for a month. Enterprise plans go from $2.50/GB on 250 GB to $2.00/GB on 1 TB. IPRoyal’s own bulk rate, $1.75/GB, starts at 10 TB.
Choose Decodo when you want a lower per-GB rate than IPRoyal at small volume and can commit to a monthly plan.

TrueProxies traffic packs start at $1.64 for 1 GB, against IPRoyal’s $7.00 on subscription, and run down to $0.60/GB on 5,000 GB. They support country, city, region and ASN targeting.
It also sells a second model: Residential IPv4 Unlimited, with no traffic cap, priced by speed from $4.08/hour at 10 Mbps. Daily, weekly and monthly plans run up to 1 Gbps. The free trial is 1 hour of the Unlimited product at 10 Mbps.
Where IPRoyal is stronger: its traffic does not expire, while a TrueProxies traffic pack lasts 30 days from activation. IPRoyal also lists more IPs and countries, 64M+ in 195+ against 50M+ in 150+. Unlimited plans use a separate 1.3M+ pool with country targeting only, and TrueProxies sells proxy access only.

SOAX prices each GB by the country tier of the exit IP. On its pricing page, tier 3 runs from $2.00/GB on the free Sandbox plan down to from $0.35/GB on Enterprise ($3,000/month), and tier 1 from $5.00/GB down to from $0.85/GB. Its residential proxies page lists 155+ million IPs across 195+ locations.
Against IPRoyal’s rates, which do not vary by country, that pays off when most of your traffic exits in tier 2 or tier 3 countries. Two terms cut the other way: plan credits expire 60 days after they are added, and SOAX says there is no free trial and payments are generally non-refundable.
Choose SOAX when you know your traffic by country and it skews away from tier 1.

Oxylabs is the step up when IPRoyal’s self-service model no longer fits. Its pricing page lists 175M+ residential IPs in 195 locations, with 24/7 support and a dedicated account manager on each plan.
Plans are monthly: $6.00/GB on Starter (5 GB, $30), $5.00/GB on Basic (20 GB, $100), $4.00/GB on Advanced (125 GB, $500) and $2.50/GB on Corporate (1 TB, $2,500). Starter costs about the same per GB as IPRoyal’s small plans, and Advanced and Corporate cost less than IPRoyal’s 10 GB rate. Every plan is a monthly commitment, and refund requests must be made within 3 calendar days of the first purchase.
Choose Oxylabs when a named contact and a contract matter more than paying only for what you use.

List prices start at $8.00/GB pay-as-you-go, above IPRoyal’s $7.35, and monthly plans run from $7.00/GB ($499, 141 GB) to $5.00/GB ($1,999, 798 GB). On September 29, 2026 the page showed a 50% discount for 3 months with code RESIGB50.
Choose Bright Data only if pool size or managed collection is the reason to move. On list prices it is not a saving.

Why do teams look for IPRoyal alternatives?
Price at small and medium volume is the usual reason. On September 29, 2026, IPRoyal listed $7.00/GB for 1 GB on subscription and $7.35/GB pay-as-you-go, falling to $5.25/GB and $5.51/GB at 10 GB. Its $1.75/GB rate applies to custom subscription plans from 10 TB.
IPRoyal’s strengths are real. Its pricing page advertises traffic that never expires, no contracts and no monthly minimum, 64M+ IPs in 195+ countries, and sticky sessions of up to 7 days. For irregular work, paying more per GB can still cost less than a monthly plan you do not use up.
So the decision turns on your usage pattern. If you use roughly the same amount every month, a monthly plan elsewhere will usually cost less per GB. If you buy a few gigabytes every few months, IPRoyal’s model may still be the better fit.
