Decodo suits teams that want to test on their own targets before paying for a plan. New users can take a 3-day trial with 100 MB. Regular plans then run from $3.75/GB on 3 GB ($11.25/month) to $2.75/GB on 100 GB, with a 14-day money-back option that does not apply after the trial.
Decodo lists 115M+ IPs in 195+ locations, more than Webshare’s 80M+, with continent, country, state, city, ZIP and ASN targeting. Webshare lists lower rates at every matching plan size, though: $2.25/GB against $2.75 at 100 GB, $2.00 against $2.50 at 250 GB, and $1.50 against $2.00 at 1 TB.
Choose Decodo when a trial and a larger advertised pool matter more than the per-GB rate.

Webshare bills a monthly plan sized in GB. IPRoyal instead sells traffic that its pricing page says never expires, with no contract and no monthly minimum, on subscription or pay-as-you-go.
The price is a higher rate: $7.00/GB for 1 GB on subscription ($7.35 pay-as-you-go) and $5.25/GB for 10 GB, against Webshare’s $3.50 and $2.75. IPRoyal lists 64M+ IPs in 195+ countries, fewer IPs than Webshare’s 80M+.
Choose IPRoyal when your use is irregular enough that part of a monthly plan would go unused.

SOAX charges by the exit IP’s country tier. Tier 3 runs from $2.00/GB on the free Sandbox plan to $1.20/GB on Builder ($200/month), $0.90/GB on Team ($500/month), $0.60/GB on Scale ($1,500/month) and from $0.35/GB on Enterprise ($3,000/month). Tier 1 runs from $5.00/GB down to from $0.85/GB.
Webshare’s table lists one rate per plan size. At similar monthly spend, SOAX’s tier 3 rates are below Webshare’s on every plan. For tier 1 traffic, SOAX’s Builder and Team rates ($3.00 and $2.20/GB) are above what Webshare charges at similar monthly spend ($2.25/GB for 100 GB, $2.00/GB for 250 GB). SOAX lists 155+ million IPs across 195+ locations, says it has no free trial, and treats payments as generally non-refundable. Its credits expire after 60 days.
Choose SOAX when you can show that most of your traffic exits outside tier 1 countries.

TrueProxies sells Residential IPv4 two ways. Traffic packs run from $1.64 for 1 GB down to $0.60/GB on 5,000 GB, and each lasts 30 days from activation. The 1,000 GB pack works out to $0.81/GB and the 3,000 GB pack to $0.70/GB, against Webshare’s $1.50 and $1.40.
The second way is Residential IPv4 Unlimited: no traffic cap, priced by speed from $4.08/hour at 10 Mbps, with daily, weekly and monthly plans up to 1 Gbps. The free trial is 1 hour of it at 10 Mbps.
Where Webshare is stronger: it lists 80M+ residential IPs in 195 countries with ZIP targeting, against 50M+ in 150+ countries for TrueProxies traffic packs, which target by country, city, region and ASN. Unlimited plans use a separate 1.3M+ pool with country targeting only. Webshare also sells datacenter and static residential proxies; the TrueProxies datacenter product is IPv6-only.

Refund requests must be made within 3 calendar days of the first purchase, with no more than 20% of the traffic used on regular plans.
Choose Oxylabs when a named account manager and a larger pool are worth the higher rate.

Bright Data lists 400M+ rotating residential IPs in 195 countries, five times Webshare’s 80M+, with country, state, city and ZIP targeting included. It also sells scraper APIs, a browser API and datasets.
List prices are much higher: $8.00/GB pay-as-you-go, and $5.00/GB at best on the $1,999/month plan with 798 GB. On September 29, 2026 the page showed a 50% discount for 3 months with code RESIGB50, which still leaves pay-as-you-go at $4.00/GB, above Webshare’s 1 GB rate of $3.50.
Choose Bright Data when pool size or managed collection is the requirement, not to save money.

Context
Why do teams look for Webshare alternatives?
Price is rarely the only reason, because Webshare’s self-service rates are below the enterprise providers’ list prices. On September 29, 2026 it listed rotating residential plans from $3.50/GB for 1 GB (shown as 50% off $7.00) down to $1.40/GB for 3,000 GB, billed monthly by plan size, with 80M+ IPs in 195 countries.
The buying terms are the more common reason. Plans are billed monthly by size, and refunds apply only within 2 days of payment and while rotating residential use is below 0.1 GB. Teams that want to test on real targets before paying, or whose use varies from month to month, look for a trial or for traffic that does not expire.
Scale and support are the other reasons. Teams that need a named account manager or a larger advertised pool move to Oxylabs or Bright Data, and pay more per GB to do it.

- Compare the same product class: rotating residential proxy access, bought per GB or by time. Scraper APIs, unblockers, ISP, mobile and datacenter products are priced differently and are left out.
- Every competitor price, pool size and coverage figure was read from the vendor’s own public pricing page on September 29, 2026 and is linked in the table. SOAX does not state its pool on its pricing page, so that figure comes from its residential proxies page.
- List prices and promotions are shown separately. A coupon that expires after 3 months is not a rate to budget against.
- Pool sizes and country counts are what each vendor advertises. None is independently audited, and we did not test any provider for this page.
- Ranking reflects fit for a stated need, not overall quality. TrueProxies publishes this page and is included as one option; it is not ranked first.
