TrueProxies

Terms of Service

Last updated:

Welcome to TrueProxies. The Services are operated by TrueProxies Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17108302, with its registered office at Office 18000, 182-184 High Street North, East Ham, London, E6 2JA, United Kingdom ("TrueProxies", "we", "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the TrueProxies website (trueproxies.com) and all related services, including proxy access, API endpoints, and the client dashboard (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy, Acceptable Use Policy, and Refund Policy.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, do not use our Services.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use TrueProxies. By creating an account, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement. If you are using the Services on behalf of a company or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

2. Account Registration

To access the Services, you must create an account with accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately at hello@trueproxies.com if you become aware of any unauthorized use of your account.

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, whether or not you authorized it.

3. Services

TrueProxies provides residential and datacenter proxy services, including but not limited to:

  • Residential IPv4 proxies (Unmetered and GB-Based)
  • Residential IPv6 proxies
  • Datacenter IPv6 proxies
  • Related API access and dashboard tools

The Services are intended solely for lawful purposes. You are solely responsible for how you use them.

TrueProxies is an infrastructure provider only. We do not control, operate, endorse, or assume any responsibility for any third-party website, platform, or service that you access through the Services, or for any content you send, receive, or store while using the Services. Any interaction between you and a third party — including any target website's decision to block, rate-limit, ban, or take legal action in connection with your traffic — is solely between you and that third party.

4. Acceptable Use

Your use of the Services is subject to our Acceptable Use Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Violations of the Acceptable Use Policy may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account without refund.

5. Payment and Billing

All fees are displayed on our website and are charged at the time of purchase. Prices may change, but changes will not affect active paid plans until renewal.

  • Hourly and daily plans are one-time payments and do not auto-renew.
  • Weekly and monthly plans auto-renew unless canceled before the renewal date.
  • You can cancel auto-renewing plans at any time from your dashboard.

We accept Visa, Mastercard, and cryptocurrency. All payments are processed securely through third-party payment processors. TrueProxies does not store your full credit card details.

6. Refunds

Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By purchasing a plan, you acknowledge that you have read and accept the Refund Policy.

7. Trial and Evaluation Offers

TrueProxies may publish limited trial or evaluation offers. Availability, fees, credits, verification, duration, limits, activation, and fair-use terms are specific to the selected offer and are shown before checkout. Abuse of an evaluation offer, including creating multiple accounts to evade eligibility rules, may result in account termination.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, logos, and software associated with TrueProxies are owned by or licensed to TrueProxies. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the Services.

9. Prohibited Conduct

In addition to the Acceptable Use Policy, you agree not to:

  • Resell, sublicense, or share your proxy credentials with unauthorized third parties without a reseller agreement
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Services
  • Use the Services to scan, probe, index, or catalog proxy infrastructure (yours or others')
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity of the Services or related systems
  • Circumvent any usage limits, authentication mechanisms, or security features

10. Service Availability

TrueProxies aims for 99.9% uptime but does not guarantee uninterrupted service. Uptime figures are performance targets only and do not create any warranty, service-level commitment, or right to compensation. We are not liable for temporary unavailability due to maintenance, infrastructure upgrades, force majeure, or third-party service failures.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Services at any time with reasonable notice. Your sole and exclusive remedy for any dissatisfaction with the Services is to stop using them and cancel your account.

11. Assumption of Risk; Third-Party Websites and Services

You acknowledge and agree that you use the Services entirely at your own risk. You are solely responsible for determining whether your intended use of the Services is lawful in your jurisdiction and compliant with the terms of service, robots.txt directives, and access policies of any website or platform you access through the Services. TrueProxies makes no representation that any particular use of the Services is lawful or permitted by any third party.

TrueProxies has no control over, and assumes no liability for:

  • The content, policies, availability, or conduct of any third-party website, platform, or service accessed through the Services
  • Any decision by a third party to block, ban, rate-limit, flag, or restrict traffic originating from the Services
  • Any suspension, termination, or loss of your accounts on third-party platforms
  • The acts or omissions of any third-party payment processor, hosting provider, or infrastructure partner
  • Any data, content, or material you transmit, receive, or store using the Services

Nothing in these Terms constitutes legal, compliance, or professional advice. You should obtain independent legal advice regarding your intended use of the Services.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITH ALL FAULTS AND WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. TRUEPROXIES EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ANY WARRANTIES ARISING OUT OF COURSE OF DEALING OR USAGE OF TRADE.

Without limiting the foregoing, TrueProxies does not warrant that:

  • The Services will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, error-free, or free of harmful components
  • Any proxy IP address will be accepted, unblocked, or undetected by any particular target website or service
  • The Services will meet your requirements or achieve any particular result, outcome, or level of performance
  • Any data obtained through the Services will be accurate, complete, or reliable
  • Any defects or errors will be corrected

No advice or information, whether oral or written, obtained from TrueProxies or through the Services creates any warranty not expressly stated in these Terms. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so some of the above exclusions may not apply to you; in that case, they apply to the maximum extent permitted.

13. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL TRUEPROXIES OR ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, SUPPLIERS, OR LICENSORS BE LIABLE FOR:

  • Any indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential damages of any kind, however caused and under any theory of liability (contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or otherwise)
  • Any loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, data, business opportunities, or anticipated savings
  • Any damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Services, including service interruptions, IP blocks, or degraded performance
  • Any damages resulting from unauthorized access to or alteration of your transmissions or data
  • Any conduct, content, or claims of any third party, including target websites and other users of the Services
  • Any damages arising from your violation of any law or any third party's rights or terms of service

THIS APPLIES EVEN IF TRUEPROXIES HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES AND EVEN IF ANY LIMITED REMEDY FAILS OF ITS ESSENTIAL PURPOSE. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY OF TRUEPROXIES FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICES SHALL NOT EXCEED THE LESSER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO TRUEPROXIES IN THE THREE (3) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (USD 100).

The limitations in this section reflect an agreed allocation of risk between you and TrueProxies and are an essential basis of the bargain; the Services would not be provided at the current pricing without them. Some jurisdictions do not allow the limitation of liability for certain damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you; in that case, liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or other applicable consumer protection law.

14. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless TrueProxies, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, suppliers, and licensors from and against any and all claims, demands, actions, liabilities, damages, losses, fines, penalties, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees and costs) arising out of or connected to:

  • Your use or misuse of the Services, or use of the Services under your account by any person
  • Your violation of these Terms, the Acceptable Use Policy, or any other incorporated policy
  • Your violation of any applicable law or regulation
  • Your violation of the terms of service, access policies, or rights of any third party, including any target website or platform
  • Any content or data you transmit, receive, collect, or store through the Services
  • Any dispute between you and any third party arising from your use of the Services

TrueProxies reserves the right, at your expense, to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter subject to indemnification by you, in which case you agree to cooperate with our defense. This indemnification obligation survives termination of your account and these Terms.

15. Termination

TrueProxies may refuse service to anyone, and may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, with or without notice. Termination may include deactivation of your account and loss of access to purchased services. TrueProxies shall have no liability to you or any third party for any suspension or termination of your account or the Services, and no refund is owed for termination resulting from your breach.

You may terminate your account at any time by canceling all active plans and contacting support.

Sections 8 (Intellectual Property), 11 (Assumption of Risk), 12 (Disclaimer of Warranties), 13 (Limitation of Liability), 14 (Indemnification), 18 (Dispute Resolution), and 20 (General Provisions) survive any termination of these Terms.

16. Force Majeure

TrueProxies shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform resulting from causes beyond its reasonable control, including acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, civil unrest, labor disputes, government actions, power or internet failures, upstream provider outages, denial-of-service attacks, or failures of third-party infrastructure.

17. Modifications

TrueProxies may update these Terms at any time by posting changes on our website. Changes become effective 10 days after posting. Continued use of the Services after this period constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. For material changes, we will notify you via email or dashboard notification.

18. Dispute Resolution; Class Action Waiver

Before filing any formal claim, you agree to first contact us at legal@trueproxies.com and attempt in good faith to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days. Any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services must be brought within one (1) year after the cause of action accrues, or it is permanently barred.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ALL CLAIMS MUST BE BROUGHT IN YOUR INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY, AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS, COLLECTIVE, GROUP, OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING. If you are a consumer, this paragraph and the one-year claim period above apply only to the extent permitted by applicable consumer protection law.

19. Governing Law

These Terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or the Services (including non-contractual disputes or claims), are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any such dispute or claim, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, you may additionally benefit from mandatory protections of the law of your country of residence.

20. General Provisions

  • Entire agreement — These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, Acceptable Use Policy, and Refund Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and TrueProxies and supersede all prior agreements and understandings
  • Severability — If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, it will be enforced to the maximum extent permissible and the remaining provisions remain in full force
  • No waiver — TrueProxies' failure to enforce any right or provision is not a waiver of that right or provision
  • Assignment — You may not assign these Terms without our prior written consent; TrueProxies may assign them without restriction
  • No relationship — Nothing in these Terms creates any partnership, joint venture, agency, fiduciary, or employment relationship between you and TrueProxies
  • No third-party beneficiaries — These Terms do not confer any rights on any third party
