When Webshare is the better choice

  • You target by ZIP or state. Webshare targets by country, state, city, ZIP and ASN on self-service plans. TrueProxies has no ZIP targeting.
  • The pool matters. Webshare advertises 80M+ residential IPs. Residential IPv4 Standard has 50M+ residential IPs in 150+ countries.
  • You pay with a card other than Visa or Mastercard. Webshare takes American Express, Discover, Diners, UnionPay, JCB, Cartes Bancaires and Interac, plus Google Pay and Apple Pay on mobile.

When TrueProxies fits

  • Price per GB. Standard runs $1.10 down to $0.60/GB and Lite $0.50 down to $0.45/GB, under Webshare's lowest $1.40/GB on a $4,200 monthly plan.
  • Traffic that does not renew. TrueProxies traffic packs are bought once and never expire, instead of a monthly plan that renews.
  • You pay in crypto. TrueProxies takes Visa, Mastercard and crypto (including BTC, ETH and USDT). Crypto is not among the methods on Webshare's page.
  • Unlimited traffic. Unlimited Bandwidth and Unlimited Pro are priced by speed, from $4.08/hour at 10 Mbps, with no charge per GB.

How we compared

  • Competitor figures were read from the vendor's own public pages on November 6, 2026, as displayed, and each source is linked below the table. Where a page does not state something, the table says so.
  • List prices and promotions are shown separately. A coupon that lasts 3 months is not a rate to budget against.
  • Pool sizes and country counts are what each provider advertises. None is independently audited, and we did not test either network for this page.
  • Before moving traffic, send the same targets, countries, concurrency and retry rules through both providers, and compare successful responses and billed traffic. The proxy checker runs a first connectivity check on any proxy.
