Residential proxies in Oceania

Oceania pairs two large English-language markets with island economies that shop very differently. Australia has a full retail ecosystem around Amazon.com.au, eBay and JB Hi-Fi, and New Zealand, which has no local Amazon store, runs much of its commerce through Trade Me. Fiji, New Caledonia and Vanuatu rely on a few local retailers, imports and Facebook-based selling. Prices come in Australian, New Zealand and Fijian dollars, CFP francs and vatu, and New Caledonian storefronts run in French.

Google is the main search engine throughout. Data-protection rules range from Australia's Privacy Act 1988 and New Zealand's Privacy Act 2020 to GDPR-based rules extended to New Caledonia and Vanuatu's Data Protection and Privacy Act of 2024, while Fiji has a national data protection policy but no general law yet. Distance shapes the market too: delivery times, shipping fees and import taxes often decide the price a buyer actually pays.
